It's happened. I've started to overdo it, I think. To wit:
I've begun stenciling little insects onto the nursery walls.
Also, we used the same stencils at the babyshower, when my guests were forced to (in lieu of party games, because YUCK!) design onesies. So, technically, I've not only "gone cutesy," no, I'm also well into the territory of "extreme matchiness," both of which are things I wanted to avoid.
And you know what? I don't care. I like the bumblebee!

That's the fun of having a baby (part of it anyway) you can get away with all the dorky matchy-matchy. Now, remind me, boy or girl? I can't recall!!
Did you make a bumblebee shirt for yourself? It isn't extreme matchiness until you're both wearing the same outfit. Which my daughter now thinks is fun.
ohhhhh great idea getting your friends to design onsies. Tell me more. What materials did you use?? pens or paint... would love to see the pix.
