tomorrow... bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow...

I'm so inpired to craft, I basically have inspiration leaking out of my ears (if only I could bottle that stuff!), but alas. There's parent information night to plan, which unfortunately includes all sorts of detailed, well, details on future assignments and dates for field trips and those sorts of time-consuming-to-create items. Also, The Husband had a birthday we couldn't help but celebrate, I had three doctor's appointments in three days (everything is just fine - click on through to my flickr to see pictures of the cutest ultrasound ever), and the job thingy takes up a lot of time during the day.
But despair not! I stopped by JoAnne's for (exciting) black thread today and The Husband has a golfing date this Saturday. My hour is coming!

I bought these fabrics back in June, and even commented on the flickr photo that I was "so excited to get started" on the quilt. Pfffft.
NOVEMBER. That's all I have to say. NOVEMBER.
Anyways. The blocks are done, now I just have to turn it into an actualy QUILT by SATURDAY.
Then I have to go to a babyshower, which is not very high on my list of priorities. In this case even worse than usual since 1. I'm pretty sure I won't know any of the guests, but only my friend who is the pregnant lady being showered and 2. I see no conceivable way of putting myself in charge of the games (which is my strategy of avoiding participation, for lo, I hate party games).
Should be fun, right?
