My first project in the new room has been completed! I found a cute onesie here (via Miss Zoot's daily links). It immediately made me think of my friend L. - the phrase "That's how I roll" is an inside joke with us AND she is pregnant. The decision was obvious - I had to make that onsie!
And so I tinkered with good old clipart and font types and finally had a chance to use the iron-on transfers I bought a while back.
What I learned from this project: Read the iron-on transfer instructions. I didn't have to flip my image, but most iron-on transfers will require it (unless you want the mirror-image on your clothing). Also: Be careful what kind of IOT you purchase: I bought IOT for colored fabrics, so the background is white. Had I known this, I would have added a border to my image and cut it out more nicely. You live, you learn, right?!

That is very cute. I'm sure your pregnant friend will love it, because that's how she rolls.
That is SO cute. I'm sure it will be a huge hit!
Oh, yes. Directions. The first (and only) time I tried the IOT I printed/wasted 3 before I got it right. But that looks great.
Have a good weekend. And your space looks great!
